The subject of the design was undeveloped land next to a railroad line in the center of Gilching near Munich. The project envisages placing an urban ensemble centrally in a suburban environment. In addition to the urban development of the town center, the objective is also to develop green- and open spaces that offer a high attractiveness and quality of stay for the residents and to develop an identity-forming effect for the community.
